Guest Network Access via LAN Port

Hello - I am using a new Airport Extreme 802.11ac in my hotel to give internet access to our customers via the guest network feature. Since the property is larger than the router's range, we have an EnGenius EOC 2610 long range wireless access point to extend the service. Is there a way to connect the EnGenius to the guest network using the LAN port on the back of the Airport Extreme?

Sorry, but no. The guest network feature on the AirPort Extreme will only function over wireless......unless you are connecting another AirPort router to extend the network....in which case both the "main" and guest" network are extended. But, still the "guest" network cannot be accessed over a LAN port.

You will need to add a wireless to Ethernet bridge, then connect the EnGenius access point using Ethernet that way. Kind of goofy, but it should work.....although I have not tested this with an EnGenius product.
