how do I ship an order from Canada to the UNIted States?

You cannot place an order in the Canadian Apple Store and ship it to the US. Have it sent to you in Canada, then you can ship it via UPS or Canadian Post to the US if you are willing to pay very high shipping costs.

I'm afraid you may find shipping across the border in either direction is more than double now unless they've lowered rates. Depending on where it's going it may be cheaper to drive it down yourself. 😝 Last summer a friend in San Francisco sent me a shirt by Fed-Ex. It cost $80.00. The shirt only cost $24.00.

TRy setting the print products country in the iPhoto advances preferences to the US and ordering. It may and may not work but worth a try

To follow LarryHN's advice and to have the book printed at the US Store you need an AppleID valid in the US. The AppleID should have a US billing address and the Credit Card must allow transactions from the US.

I might as well purchase the book here in Canada at the local Walmart - pick it up and ship to the US. Apple looses my business on this transaction but their accounting system needs to change - very archaic.
