Logic pro X - Fade tool is not working

Hi,

I'm just wondering why the fade tool doesnt work for me... (fade in, fade out and crossfade)

I want to make fade before and after audio regions, and for some reason it won't let me.

I can only drag the regions or something like that.

I didn't have this issue in logic 8 or 9 so its very strange...

Heres the arrange window:

Thanks !

You cannot make fades before or after regions, only inside regions, at the start or the end. Also, fades only work on audio regions. Furthermore, your fade tool is set to cmd-click, so I must ask: are you actually holding the command key when attempting to fade inside audio regions?
