Now that I've upgraded to Mavericks, Mail is doing things I don't understand.
For example, the line spacing for bullet points shows too much of a gap. It ruins the look of my business e-mails.
This didn't happen in Mountain Lion and I'm not seeing anything in the 'Help' section to help me with this.

Short of changing font or font-size, there are no word processing controls that permit changes to the line height between bullets.
You can create your bullets in a word processing app and adjust the inter-bullet spacing to taste. The formatting is retained in Mail via a copy/paste.

I understand what you are saying, but I prefer composing my mails directly in the Mail window.
The solution you suggest -- while it might work -- is an extra step I don't want to take.
The change in line spacing in Mavericks seems like an odd thing for Apple to do to "improve" Mail.
For the record, I prefer writing in Verdana, with a 14 point font.
