Keyboard shortcuts not working on Windows 8.1

Hello,

I just installed iTunes 11 on Windows 8.1 and I have a HUGE problem with the keyboard shortcuts. While "Controls" card in the menu says "next" is ctrl+right and "previous" is ctrl+left, it's actually only left/right arrow. But my biggest problem is that I can't skip forward od backward within a song. It says everywhere that the shortcuts for that are CTRL+ALT+LEFT/RIGHT Arrow, but Windows 8 has those shortcuts for rotating the screen... and after I disabled that function of the graphic card, I thought maybe the shortcut WILL work in iTunes but no... there is absolutely no way for me to skip forward or backward within a song...

What can I do? please help! (because I couldn't find ANYTHING about that problem on Google)...
