How to remove UNINSTALLED apps in 'Settings'?

How to remove UNINSTALLED apps in 'Settings'?

Yes, I mean those apps which are still not installed, but displayed in 'Settings'.

Recently, I found there are some new apps at the bottom of 'Settings', like 'Vimeo', 'Sina Weibo'. They're not installed, but they are there and you can click 'INSTALL' to install them.

I don't want them all. I'm wondering how those apps come into 'Settings', even haven't been installed. I checked 'iTune', 'AppStore' to see whether they come from iCloud, but nothing found.

I know I may can remove them by first installing them, then deleting them. But I don't want to install them either at first place.

Any way?

I Don't understand why an app would show up as uninstalled in the settings app. But perhaps a reset of your iPad would fix this issue. First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Do you mean Vimeo in settings like in the screen shot below ? If so you can sign up for Vimeo but the app isn't installed.

Does 'reset' lost all settings? Is there any other way? I heard 'Vimeo' is kind of integrated in. And for 'Sina Weibo', if I clicked some Chinese stuff, Apple will integrate that into 'Settings', but leave it 'uninstalled'.

They can't be deleted. Signing up for those services lets you post to them. To read them you still need to download the app.

I didn't sigh up to those services. When I click them, there is 'INSTALL' button at the top right corner, and something like 'Learn more about...' below. I didn't sign up them/

They are there so you can sign up for them. I didn't sign up for them either but there they are. Like email and iMessages, signing up for twitter, Facebook, etc., lets you share information.

They were not there just 3 days ago. Somehow Apple put them there recently. I think I better to know how Apple put them in, so I can try to avoid these kind of apps next time.

If they are the ones in the screen shot they have been there as long as I had my iPad.
