Safari don't load pages anymore

I have strange problem on my G4/400 with recent version of Tiger and all updates.
Since longtime my wife couldn't use Safari, the program opens but no webpage loads, no error message no timeout. Camino and Firefox work perfectly.
Since today I have the same problem, my son but the mac to standby by pushing on the button. Since then Safari don't work anymore.
I already restarted, started from the X.4 DVD and repaired the disk and the permissions, deleted the Preference File.
But nothing help, I also installed Safari 2.x again from the X.4 DVD.
Has anyone some ideas what i can do ?
