I Just bought a new iMac. The mouse is turned on. Blinking. The computer says in discovery mode. But can't find the mouse.

They come pre-paired. See Desktop computers- Troubleshooting wireless keyboard and mouse issues in Mac OS X v10.5, OS X Mavericks- Use an Apple wireless keyboard, mouse, or trackpad.
