I have the lates version of Pages.
I have a number of documents in folders ie for each month. I would like to create another folder ie for each year and place all the folders into it. So basically, can I or how do I create a folder to place folders to organize my Pages.

Folder organisation is done in Finder, not from within Pages, although you can create a new folder from within the Save dialog box in most programs.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to create a folder within a folder on Pages for iPad. If you're on a Mac, please refer to the other response above.

When you first open Pages for iPad, you will see a documents view. Drag a like document over another and hold until a grey background forms. Release. You now have a documents folder that is now prompting you for a name.
