Is this RAM compatible with my late 2008 Macbook Pro?
I took my late 2008 Macbook Pro to the Genius Bar because it's been running slowly since the Mavericks upgrade. A diagnostics check came up clean so, as I expected, they recommended I upgrade my RAM. According to the Mactracker app, my laptop can upgrade to 4GB or 8GB of RAM but Apple recommends only 4GB. Should I stick with 4GB or go all out on 8GB? I use my laptop primarily for internet browsing, streaming video and word processing.
Also, according to Crucial.com, this RAM is compatible with my Macbook:

However, I found this RAM on Amazon and it's much cheaper:

The specs seem identical to the one from Crucial.com but is it compatible with my Macbook?
Thanks!
