Q: Can't download new apps.

I just noticed this problem today. In the AppStore on my Iphone, I tapped the "Install" button of an app that I wanted. After a few minutes, the "Open" button showed up. But when I tapped it, nothing happened. Also, the new app was nowhere to be found on my home screen. Please help.

iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2

Hello speedpacer,

It may help to force close the App Store, then restart your iPhone.

If the behavior continues, the next step would be to restore the device.
