Have you tried the free HandBrake? I use that but never had for VOB format.

I tried with iskysoft but it doesn't convert the whole video
I've tried several different video converters and I find 'Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate' to be the best. It's not free
but if you do much video converting, it's worth the cost.
Voilabits video converter converts videos without quality losing.
iFunia video converter is good enough too.
This web-based oneis also nice.
Let me add my vote for handbrake.
I've used it on Windows, Linux and Mac. All worked really well.
It will transcode VOB's to a variety of formats.
Best part is that there are built in presets for creating apple compatible formats
(for iPhone, iPad etc).
My partner got a Pavtube video ultimate convert in a giveaway weeks ago. We've been using it to convert blue ray discs and VOB files from our DVD collection. Works like a charm!

Handbrake works for all VOBs except copy-protected Blu-Ray Discs. You need to specify what you are attempting to convert.
I highly recommend iDealshare VideoGo which can batch convert VOB to MP4, or MOV, then i just can easily play VOB on my Mac devices like iTunes, QuickTime, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Apple TV.
I prefer it for it also can convert VOB to iMovie supported MP4, MOV or DV or convert VOB to Final Cut Pro supported Apple ProRes, or DV.
It even can convert video to VOB or convert VOB to AVI, WMV, FLV, MPG, WebM, H.265 etc video format.
