how to remove itunes match from stolen apple tv

I´ve come to realize that if someone steals my apple tv, they would be able to access my music through itunes match, they will be able to listen to itunes radio also.

I recently took my apple tv to my parents house, and to my surprise the only thing it needs to work is connect it to the local wifi network, no apple id password require nor anything else.

And just like that anybody can get into my music in itunes match, not to mention netflix suscription and probably my movie purchases too.

Dos anybody know how to wipe my account remotely from the apple tv, and any other device for that matter..

thanks a lot

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.6

Hi josue alexander,

Access to iTunes match or other content purchased from Apple on an Apple TV or other device, depends on using an Apple ID. Should a device become unavailable to you in circumstances such as you describe, you can disable its access to your iTunes match by changing the password for your Apple ID. Follow the instructions in this article -

Apple ID: Changing your password

Note that non-Apple services may have different authentication methods. The above only applies to Apple services.
