Aperture imports my photos in random order

This has just recently started happening. When I insert my SD card from my Canon 70D, it brings up Aperture and all photos are shown checked and in numerical order. However when I tell the program to import all checked items, the photos are imported in random, not numerical order. This has just started happening in the last couple of days. I see no option in the program or the import choices to import photos in numerical order. Anyone have an idea why this has begun happening? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by a 'Library Sort Order' there is no set sort order for a library (or project, folder, album).

The order the images are displayed is set for each, within any library you can have one project sort by date, another by name, a third by metadata.

So again the library (or any other container) does not have a specific sort order. If that was the case Aperture would be serverly limited, no?
