Hi, what you can do is use the app called, "Find My iPhone". It will locate the phone where it is. However, it will not give you the exact co-ordinate. However, what you can do is keep your friends or your family member call it every time until you hear the phone vibration. If the phone's battery is dead. That is a no-luck. Good luck finding your phone!

Apple does not track devices.

They do provide find my iPhone to help users find their lost I phones.

You must download and activate it on the device before it is lost.

To be correct, you must only activate FindMyiPhone.

You don't need to download anything (though you can download FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device to locate your lost iOS device).
