I have a couple of Mac's on a network that running Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 that for unknown reason have started broadcast BJNP messages looking for Canon printers I assume.

I can't seem to determine what process is making these broadcasts.

I'd like to turn off the broadcasts but I can't figure out why they are happening.

I have tried the normal command line commands

lsof

ps

netstat

But I just don't see the process responsible.

Any help would be appreciated.
