How can I swap out SIM card in iPhone with out sim slot?
Exactly Brian
In the US CDMA is a different technology
Remember this is a World wide Forum and frankly if you do not know for sure don't respond .
All the other responses are from very experienced US volunteers ,they DO know what they are talking about
Suggest you go through this document it may help in the future
Then state that as your question: "How do I transfer service with Verizon from my iPhone 4 to my iPhone 5?"
No need to get snotty with people trying to answer your question when you didn't even properly state your question in the first place.

Hi Kerry when you look down the side of your iPhone can you see
a small hole if you can insert a pin or paper clip press into hole and
the sim tray should pop out.
The Verizon iPhone 4 does not have a SIM slot.
Thank you all for trying to help! Sorry if I seamed short in my reply! All I wanted to do was remove the sim from one phone and move it to the other! But my iPhone does not have an external port for SIM card addition or removal! All our other phones you insert the pin, pull out tray, swap out cards and you were ready to go! Only one of our phones came with out the spot for the sim! I think I will get home and remove back cover and look for SIM card! If I find it I'll switch it over if not I'll take it in to apple!
thank you all for your help!

DO NOT TRY TO OPEN THE PHONE!!!!! YOU WILL RUIN IT AND NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM. IT HAS NO SIM!
All you need to do is call Verizon and they will help you activate the new phone. 800-922-0204 from a different phone.
IF your iphone is ver4 it is using a regular sim card (none if cdma). Iphone 5 has a different size. No use opening it to swap phone. Go to verizon and request for a sim that will fit iphone 5. They will be needing to change the imei associated with your number too in order to work properly.

II'm using it with Verizon! I just want to upgraded to iPhone 5! It came from Verizon along with the other phone? Do I need to open the back to gain access or take it to apple or Verizon?
Repeat after me: THERE IS NO SIM CARD IN A VERIZON iPHONE 4. THERE IS NO SIM CARD IN A VERIZON IPHONE 4.
There is no SIM card accessible from outside the phone, and there is no SIM card hidden in the phone. It is a CDMA phone, and CDMA in the US has never used a SIM card in any phone (not just iPhones) ever made for a CDMA network. Instead the hardware MEID of the phone is used to activate it, and you must call Verizon to activate a new phone.
The iPhone 4S and 5 series Verizon phones DO have SIM cards, but they are only for LTE. When the phone falls back to CDMA it still uses the hardware MEID of the phone. So even with later models you must still call Verizon to activate the phone.

The Verizon iPhone 4S only uses the SIM for international roaming. It's a 3G phone. 🙂
Verizon 4G phones can be activated just by switching the SIM card as long as the SIM is the same size.
I Don't know if it has a sim tray or not because there is no slot to open
No, don't open the phone. That will void the warranty. If you want to transfer service, you need to have Verizon do that; attempting to remove the internal SIM card will not help.
You can't. Try to find a new SIM tray. Keep in mind that this will cause the serial numbers to be mismatched, as it is printed on the SIM card tray.
I Could use your help but please read the question!?
Oh, then it sounds like you have a CDMA iPhone 4, which has no SIM slot. You cannot use a GSM carrier (which uses SIM cards) with that phone.
Where is the SIM card its not top or side. Inside the phone?
CDMA phones have an internal card.
