Macbook pro retina hard drive locked

Hi,


my macbook pro (retina) won't boot...

because the start up disk is pasword protected, and i don't know what it is...


( sorry for my english)

Hello Beuk14,


It sounds like you have enabled the firmware password or File Vault 2 for your MacBook Pro with Retinal display. If it is File Vault 2 , then you will need to use the recovery key that you should have copied down to recover disable it. If you do not have it or it is the Firmware password, then only option is to schedule and appointment with an Apple Retail Store or and Apple Authorize Service Provider.
