MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.9.1 fails to install

I recently got the MacBook Air EFI Firmware Update 2.9.1 in the App Store. The strange thing is that I never saw the 2.9 update everybody is mentioning.

After installing the update and rebooting its still showing as an update in de App Store. So I tried reinstalling it again. Still the same problem.

In system information its still showing Boot ROM Version: MBA41.0077.B0F

Anybody knows how to install it?

MacBook Air (11-inch Mid 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

my mba not only keep showing update 2.9.1 but also brick and black screen after reinstall it. and i change the logic board (apple diagnose liquid damage the mba reboot again cost me lot ,and the update still there.i am scare to reinstall it again. i am going to make another appoint for it with apple.
