I get an error message - an I pod has been detected but it could not be identified properly this happened after I downloaded a newer vesrion of I Tunes does anybody have a quick fix??

Have you tried to Roll-Back to your old iTunes and verify if it is working fine?

I had that problem after unistalling and re installing itunes a couple time i went and deleted all apple programs associated itunes and itunes restarted my computer then re installed itunes and it worked
