How to be sure Siri knows which contact I want
What's the trick to having Siri know that when I say "call John" I mean John X, not a dozen other Johns in my Contacts

Hey there HartfordDon,
It sounds like you are wanting to be able to differentiate between contacts with the same first name with Siri. There are a couple ways to do this. First you could add a Nickname to these contacts and use the nickname when you are using Siri to contact them. This article will outline how to do that:

About Nicknames
Contacts are listed with First, Last, and Company fields, but you can add a Nickname field. If Prefer Nicknames is on and the contact has a nickname, the nickname entry will appear.
To add a nickname, follow these steps:
- Tap Contacts and tap the contact you want to view.
- Tap Edit.
- Scroll down and tap add field > Nickname.
- Add a nickname and tap Done.
To remove a nickname, follow these steps:
- Tap Contacts and tap the contact you want to view.
- Tap Edit.
- Delete the Nickname field.
- Tap Done.
Alternately you can use their first and last name to specify which person to contact with Siri.
