The hard drive I was using to keep all my songs is fried, but everything is backed up via iTunes Match.
I want to be download all my songs (30,000+) to a new hard drive so I can play them on my SONOS.
How can I do this without having to click every individual song?

Highlight a number of tracks, right-click, and choose "download. Keep in mind that iTunes Match and iTunes in the Cloud are not backup services. You should be backing up your purchases locally to an external HDD.

There's no download link when I right click. That's what I expected but it's not there. I do actually have my music backed up ecternally, but thought iCloud would be the first stop when trying to retrieve it.

Each track should have a download icon. If no icon is shown, this suggest that your library is still pointing to the original track. If you try to play a track do you see " ! " against the track. If so, you have two options:
1. Select track and right click then delete - do not tick delete from cloud. Download icon now shown.
2. Create new library, point to location you wish to download then turn on match. You will see all music you have in match.
By the way, it would be easier and quicker to restore your music from your back up.

I know it would be easier to restore from my backup. The reason I don't want to do so is that much of my music was purchased from iTunes pre 2009, which means it's DRM protected and therefore won't play on my SONOS, i thought this may be an opportunity to update the old tracks, but it looks like I have to do it track by track so will restore from the backup.
Just have iTunes Match match all your old purchases and then download them anew. That will remove DRM.
As Jim says, iTunes is probably still looking for the original file in the original location. To download the track from the cloud you'll first need to delete the "pointer" from the iTunes library (but not the cloud). Then you will be able to download the tracks.

This is not always 100% accurate. Some older, DRM restricted files will be ineligible and so can't be upgrade. The only way to remove the DRM is to burn the tracks to an Audio CD and re-import them to the iTunes library.

Right click on the song in iTunes and select delete.
Then drag the song back into iTunes from your backup and re-import.
Or just navigate to where the file is when it asks you if you want to locate it.
That is wierd, because I remember Apple stating that all old DRM songs could simply be downloaded again to have DRM removed.

You select the "track" in iTunes and delete it by typing Option+Delete on the keyboard. Do not delete it from the cloud.

In the real world, not all old, DRM restricted tracks will be "matched" and upgradable to the DRM-free 256 Kbps tracks. For various reasons, some will retain an iCloud Status of "purchased," some will be "uploaded." The only way those can be converted to DRM-free is to burn them to an Audio CD and re-import them to iTunes.
