I've been trying for hours to get this thing working. Just want to record my walks. I was under the assumption that the walk time is fixed. I downloaded the nike connect. That won't even recognize my nano. I've been doing everything that's been asked but nothing happens. The only thing I have is a nike+ account in my own name that what my nano is. Keeps telling me have no workouts to be sent. But I do have a few.
I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Is this a new iPod nano (6th gen)?
Did you purchase a Nike+ sensor for your shoes?

Nike Connect is for your computer to connect to the Nike Fuelband, not the Nike+ sensor
sorry Chris for getting back to you late. But did contact Nike. It has been resolved. First the Nike site was down, than I got it to record on a run not walk. Didn't know Nike or apple doesn't record the walks. Would be nice.
