Q: itunes match isn't working on my ipos iOS 6.1.6.  It was working last week.  What's up?

Two weeks ago iTunes match was working.  Now when I go into the music app, it just shows a cloud with a blank bar under it.  I can't play any music.  Any ideas?

    Yes, ad nauseam. I've used Match on an iPod Touch for almost a year. Today, however, I cleared out the library on the device for a fresh sync with Match and now cannot seem to get the device to pick up anything from iCloud. Like jdfog, I see only a cloud on the screen with an empty status bar which disappears after about 30 seconds. The iPod is on-line, Match is turned on (and off and on and off and on) in iTunes and iPod, and I've power-cycled all devices / router. I've also updated Match three times.     My iPhone 5s shows Match running perfectly, so it must be some sort of conflict on the iPod.


    Two questions: Should Home Sharing and/or iTunes Wifi Sync be toggled on or off with Match? Could either of these functions be preventing a Match library from displaying on the iPod?

    I'm having the same exact issue on the same exact device with the same version of iOS. iTunes Match previously worked before I upgraded iOS to 6.1.6. Has there been any resolution to this?

    It is sad that this problem is not solved. I have iPhone 3GS with ios 6.1.6 and it is not activated itunes match. Bad.

    This issue was resolved. After working with several Apple techs a misconfiguration (on their side) was discovered after an iTunes update. They corrected it, but it took about 48 hours for everything to sync up again. I have no idea if it was just an isolated case, but it looks like a few others are having the same issue. The key? Persistence. Make sure you tell them its a problem after an update so you aren't charged for the service, but if you give them the space they need, they'll fix it. Good luck!
