Q: Remotely log out of the find my iphone app on another person's iphone

I lost my iPhone last month and my friend let me install the find my iPhone app on their iPhone. I logged into my apple id to search for my iPhone on their phone, however; I did not get a chance afterwards to (sign out of my apple id on the find my iPhone app on their phone.)

Is there a way to remotely log out of that app on another device. I am talking about the (Find my iPhone APP for the iPhone.)

I don't think you can just remotely log out, but you could change your Apple ID password (which would have the same effect). Apple ID: Changing your password

I was unable to retrieve my iphone and it is currently in "erase pending" on find my iphone. If I were to change my apple id password, would that cancel the erase request on the lost phone?
