Q: iPhone 4s unlocking failed to restore, stops after 20 minutes and says lost connection, repeatedly! Help!

It sounds like you want to unlock your iPhone and tried to restore it but ran into an issue with that process. If your carrier gave you a new SIM, you can unlock the iPhone without restoring it as shown in the first article below. If you do not have another SIM or just want to resolve the restore issue, try the suggestions in the second article.
