Epson Stylus CX7300 will not print after software update

After doing the latest update for my Epson Stylus CX7300 printer it will not print. When i open the printer utility it comes up with a communication error. I can still scan documents but i can't print or even print a test page, check ink levels etc.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

If you are having issues printing after running a software update I would recommend using the troubleshooting steps in the following article. It sounds like you have already completed some of these steps, but I would recommend reading over and working through the steps provided in this article.
