Mac Pro keeps crashing?

My 2006 Model Mac Pro keeps crashing/freezing.
I am using it for VST audio production.
It handles the load fine, but it periodically crashes and it is not consistent.
Sometimes it even happens when it is not under any kind of load.
In fact, in just froze while I was in the middle of this request.
Luckily it saved state and booted right from where I left off.
I did have my audio production running at the time.
Below is one of my crash reports.
Does anyone see an issue below??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I found this screenshot complete with ECC Errors shown, on anandtech.com:

User uploaded file

The display is a snapshot -- to get new data, you must invoke the report again.

When you get a second error on the same memory location, that is generally not correctable, and your Mac Pro with Xeon processor is designed to stop on a kernel panic, machine check, error overflow or uncorrected error to avoid poisoning your data.

A utility to update that firmware after an update to the processors is available on netkas.

Which line in my report shows that it is a memory issue?
I just purchased the ram brand new last week.
The status says "OK" when I check it in the system report.

Yes I have a 2006 model Mac, but the fellow I purchased it from had upgraded the mother board to a 2007 model.
Where can I find the EFI 2.1 firmware?
I believe that the RAM I purchased is good quality.
Thanks!

Apple does not support the upgrading of the processors in a Mac Pro to turn it into a 2,1. Unfortunately, once you have upgraded the processors, it may not work properly unless you also upgrade the firmware. Apple does not support that upgrade either, but there is a third-party tool that can help you do this. It's really easy.

This article may help you find the tool you need. You do not need the patches he discusses, just the link:

Thanks so much!
I was able to get the firmware upgraded.
Before, it would list my CPU as 3.0GHz "Unknown"
Now it lists the specs for it.
The firmware upgraded, but the SMC is still for the 1,1.
Do I need to upgrade that as well?
It doesn't allow me through apple.

Also, one more questions.
I purchased 32GB 800MHz ram because I did some research and everything I was finding would state that the 2006 model could use it.
However, I could never get it to work.
It would under clock it to 667.
According to this page, the 2007 model can definitely support it:

Mac Pro (Mid 2012 and earlier): How to remove or install memory

When I click under "Earlier" & Select the "Mac Pro (8-Core)"
It shows that it would support 800MHz.
Even after upgrading the firmware it is still under clock it to 667.
What would be the reason for this?
Again thank you so much for all your help!!!

If you wish to pursue the SMC firmware, that link I posted earlier with its patches tells how. It is a little riskier and most hobbyists do not feel it is necessary.

One component you have not replaced is the memory interface chip, aka Northbridge. This may be keeping you from using the faster DIMMs. Specialized memory tests can tell the difference between 800 and 667, but the speed difference in actual use is negligible.

Mac Pro keeps crashing?
