some songs would not upload to cloud when i bought itunes match.

Purchased iTunes Match. About half the songs on my pc did not go to the cloud, the rest did. Both groups were a mixture of cd's and purchases from other sources. The cloud icon had exclamation point inside and when I clicked on it, it said "This item was not added to iCloud because an error occurred."

Please see the information below on what that error indicates, and how to resolve the error for those songs:

User uploaded file Error This icon may appear if the song file is corrupt or if there was an error uploading the song. Try updating iTunes Match (Store > Update iTunes Match) to resolve this. If updating doesn't resolve the issue, try importing a new copy of the song into your iTunes library.
