External Video (FCP not playing on my camera/tape deck)

Hi

I can capture footage into FCP but I cannot play video from my timeline onto my camera.

I refreshed A/V DEVICES and I have selected ALL FRAMES in EXTERNAL VIDEO but still no signal, no communication.

I have the proper setting on my camera so I know it is something with my FCP settings.

What camera? This feature only works with DV and DVCPRO HD cameras and sequence settings.

Thanks for writing.

I use FCP6

I have a SONY PD170. I've have output'd video to it before. Not sure why it's not doing it now. What should my sequence settings be?

DV/NTSC...or DV/PAL if you are in Europe. This only works if your footage and sequence are DV.
