Q: How can I open an unpublished iBook on another Macbook

I am working on an iBook on my personal Macbook (it is unpublished) and need to bring it up on my work Macbook. I do not want to publish it yet because it is not finished. The only reason I am needing to open it up on my other Macbook is because my Macbook is about to die and I need to get it over to my other computer so I can finish it before I publish it. Please help me!!!

    Assuming you are using iBooks Author, just transfer the .iba file which embodies your project to the other Mac.

     

    The published version, which is an .ibooks file, cannot be opened by iBooks Author in any case, only by the iBooks app, which cannot edit it.
