Q: Do I need Apple TV to use Airplay?

Aug 4, 2014 2:01 PMby pebrain21,I'm running Mavericks but I don't see any settings for turning on Airplay. Where should I look. I have a mac mini but I don't have an apple display.
I'm trying to get this: http://www.x-mirage.com/x-mirage/how-it-works.html it says that it can work with a PC and I don't see how. All it says is that as long as your idevice and your pc are on the same wifi network, it will work. It doesn't.

If you have a Mac then trying posting your question in the MAC forum, you may get more results.

Then you should click on their support link to find out why. I don't see it as an Apple issue.

Are you certain that the PC and iOS devices are on the same exact Wi-Fi network? Make sure you're not connecting to a "guest network", or parallel 5 GHz network that the PC may not connect to.
