MacBook Air charger is really hot HELP!

Is it a problem if my macbook air changer is super hot while I'm charging my MacBook Air? If so help!

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

The answer depends on just how hot is "super hot". It is normal for it to become quite warm. If you can burn yourself by touching it, that's too hot. If you can't, it's OK.
