Q: FCP7 will not read ProRes Files

When I try to import .mov files which I've already converted to ProRes into FCP 7, Log & Transfer will not read them. Why is this happening suddenly? No file format seems to be acceptable!

Log and Transfer is for importing camera files such as AVCHD that are not directly compatible with FCP and converting them to ProRes.

    You have already done that.

Now assuming you want to use the footage in a new project, you need to simply use the the File > Import dialog, either from the menu bar or by clicking the Import Files icon in the browser. Otherwise, you open the saved project where you originally performed the Log and Transfer.
