Can I add a Copyright symbol to my photos in iPhoto?

Hi all,

Is there a tool for adding text or symbols to my photos in iPhoto? I am thinking specifically of the copyright symbol, but other text would be useful as well. I know that I can do it in Photoshop or The Gimp, but if I don't have to export the pix to do it that would be better.

Thanks in advance,

KC

Hi Carbonfish,
You don't have to export the photos to use PS to add the text or copyright symbol. You have to set up PS as an external editor first.

In iPhoto Preferences, under the General tab>select the option to open the photo in another application when double clicked. The image must be "saved" using the same name and file format.

If after setting the preference you can still edit within iPhoto by control clicking the image and scroll to your editing preference.

You can also always control click on an edited image and "revert to original"
