Complete My Album?

Having recently purchased one to two tracks from two new albums, I decided to buy the remaining tracks.

Although my purchased tracks show as 'play', I do not have the 'Complete My Album' option, therefore, the entire price of the whole album will be charged and not the price reduction of the previously tracks.

Why is this?

As a consequence, I have not proceeded in purchasing the remaining tracks on these two albums in particular.

Hi adrian99,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

In this situation, if you are not seeing the option to complete your albums, I would read over the following attached article. There could be a few different reasons why this may happen.

iTunes Store: Complete My Album Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I don't see an album on my Complete My Album page.

If you don't see an album on the Complete My Album page:

  • The album itself may no longer be available for sale on iTunes.
    or
  • You acquired the content with song code promotions which do not qualify for Complete My Album credits.
    or
  • Apple may not have the rights to offer Complete My Album for that album.

Have a great day,

Joe
