I got a new iPhone 5s since my first one was defective when the person helping me connected to iTunes it gave him the option to activate the SIM card but he skipped the step now it doesn't appear when connect it to my computer and open iTunes. on the top left corner it says "Invalid SIM".

None of these steps work for me when i turn my phone off and than on i get a message "Could not activate cellular data network" I can see sprint on top left corner for a minute than get a message "iPhone is not Activated" than sprint on the top changes to Invalid SIM.
Contact Sprint.They are a CDMA carrier. You can't just put a SIM card in a phone and activate it on Sprint.

I been having an iPhone with AT&T and i didnt have a SIM card now . So now I get one with H20 that runs under At&t and it brings me back to the actvation screen and it says that i should connect with WIFI or celler data or connect to ITunes. But it doesn't work.
Did you get AT&T to unlock it? It doesn't matter if the MVNO you're trying to use uses the AT&T network. They are NOT AT&T.
