Q: Ipad bluetooth problem

Hi, my mac air connects with my iPad with bluetooth but does not allow me to search. It continues to look iPad although it shows connected.

Also I have the same problem with my ipad connecting to my phone, it says check if the phone is on or in range.

Can someone help.

Bluetooth on the iPad is intended for headphones, keypads, etc. It is not intended for, nor does it support, communication to/from a Mac or an iPhone (other than hotspot from iPhone).

I did connect blue tooth between my mac air and my iPad before and it did work.
it is just recently that all of a sudden neither my iPhone 3 nor my mac can connect to the net.
They do pair and it shows they are paired and connected but. i can not connect to the web.
