Hello!
I've been using my AppleTV for a year or so and i haven't had any issues until last june/july.
My ATV doens't connect to my Home Sharing library on my mac, even though I have it open on the mac and it worked fine.
Also, I use Beamer (latest version) to send .mkv and some .mp4 files to appletv, however, it doesn't find my ATV anymore, until i restart it. Both Beamer and Home Sharing issues are gone when i restart my ATV. But it loses connection after a short period of inactivity.
On my iphone, the airplay icon isn't available (although atv is on and on the same wi-fi). Again, it only shows up after I restart my ATV.
Since my MacbookPro is Mid 2009, i'm aware that Airplay Mirroring isn't available.
I've already tried resetting my ATV, my router, and nothing has made it work as before.
How can I fix this? Everything was working fine and is update, ATV, iOS, OS X Mavericks and router firmware.
