Q: iPad and Uberrimae fidei
After trying to add an App to my iPad I found out that this was not possible. However the attempt must have partly succeeded because I am left with the
App motif on the screen with all the other usual motifs (Safari, Clock, Settings, Mail etc).
If I click on the motif it tells me that the app is not for iPads, which I now know, and just want to remove the motif
There is no indication of any part of the app elsewhere in the iPad.
Would appreciate someone telling me how to remove it.

Hello Eric,
Apps on your iPad can be removed by holding your finger on an app until they begin to jiggle. Once they've started jiggling, you can tap the 'x' on the app that you'd like to remove.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Tap and hold the app you want to delete.
- The apps will begin to jiggle.
- Tap the X on the app.
