I drooled on my MacBook Air

Ok, this is going to sound a little weird, but I was playing a game and I didn't realize my mouth was open, and I accidentally drooled right on my MBA's keyboard. I'm so worried now that my notebook is gonna be toast. It's less than a year old and it's also covered by AppleCare and general insurance. I'm certain that drool would classify as liquid damage. I turned it off as soon as I realized what I did. Anyone been in this situation before? I'm worried!! 😟

As saliva is not distilled water - you may have some damage that will not be taken care of by Apple Warranty as it is liquid issue so you have to decide if you want to take it in and have it inspected or cleaned up.

THere is an earlier post here where wine "splashed on the keyboard" caused significant damage and voided the warrantee (I think they gave the individual some money back for the remaining time on the extended warranty"
