2 green and 1 red lines on my ipod nano 7th gen

It sounds like you have some errant red and green lines on your new iPod Nano 7th gen. I would start by resetting the device with this process:

Restarting does not work and I wouldn't hard reset unless I backed up any downloads/music/pictures. Any more solutions? Although this topic is months old.

The iPod nano does not download anything directly to it, so any photos or music would have needed to be synced from the computer. Also there is not a backup option for the iPod nano.
