Locked out of my own Admin Settings, how can I reset my password?

Afterwards I made my useracount admin again with this recipe:
OS X Mountain Lion: Give an account administrator privileges
In short Open Users&Groups as root and choose the option: Allow this user to administer the computer.
Did you see this window while booted from the Recovery Drive? This looks like you are trying to reset in System Preferences. Normally, there is no password required when changing password while booted from Recovery Drive.
i had this issue when i rolled back from yosemite to mavericks, it converted my admin account to a standard user, therefore leaving no admin account present on the machine, i had to reinstall osx, after backing up all data.

I got access to the Admin acount acount by rebooting with Cmd-R, open Teminal and type resetpassword.
In the dialog also reset the password for the root acount. Even if you didn't have any.
This has led to forcing me to use the root (+password) instead of username (+password). I don't like it, but I've got back control of my Mac - after downgrading from an unbootable Yosemite.
Resetting or changing a password:
Restart with the Command and R keys held down, open the Terminal, and use the resetpassword command:
Your login password and admin password are the same thing.
Where you able to solve this situation? I have the same problem.
Thanks for your attention.
