Trouble with Bootcamp Drivers on Mavericks

Hi there,

OS 10.9.4, Mid 2010 15" MBP here.

I recently installed Windows 7 on a Bootcamp partition via the following method:

As per the guidelines for Windows partition installation via Bootcamp I have copied the latest drivers to an appropriately formatted USB stick and attempted to run setup.exe while logged in to my Windows partition. Install appears to continue normally but upon reboot I get the error:

This version of Windows could not be installed. Your previous version of Windows has been restored...

My install method is a little odd and I'm wondering if it's the cause of this problem. I haven't seen anyone in the same situation as me.

If you need any other information to answer this, let me know.

Thanks,
