Q: I can't delete dark app icons from iPhone

So you have tried to delete apps on the iPhone and on iTunes but they are still on the iPhone. The second article how to delete apps through the iPhone and through iTunes and has a reason they may still show up. If after all that they are still there you may want to backup and resort the iPhone to factory settings.

After you delete an item, it might still be visible if you can download it again from iTunes in the Cloud. The Download icon will appear next to these items. You can hide items available in iCloud and purchases from the Mac App Store.
