Unable to open Facebook in my ipad

I Am using ipad 4 retina display

i am unable to open Facebook on app as well as other browsing app.

facebook app gives network error

safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding


i I have re installed my Facebook app, cleaned data of safari, restarted my ipad & reset my ipad, still I can't open Facebook.!


what should I do??? Please help.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM), iOS 7.1.2

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.


Sounds like you are not able to open the Facebook app and another app. It could be a larger issue than just Facebook so you can follow the second article and test after each step.

Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Follow these steps to clear information from your device:

  • To clear your history from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear History.
  • To clear all cookies from Safari, tap Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data.
  • To clear other stored information from Safari, tap Advanced > Website Data > Remove All Website Data.
