Q: How can I download my music onto my iPod from my iTunes library?

I Forgot to plug in my iPod to the computer when I downloaded a song from iTunes. Now that I have plugged in my iPod it doesn't show up on the iTunes program and I can't sync the song. Can anyone help? I don't know why my iPod doesn't show up on the screen, I've already authorized my computer.
