After upgrading to iTunes 11.3, can't get iTunes to see library

After upgrading to iTunes 11.3 yesterday, I can't get iTunes to see my library again. It shows all of my music. movies, etc.. as needing to be downloaded from the Cloud. The library is still on my machine, and I tried last night to import the folder, but is crapped out somewhere in the middle of the night. I don't know what I need to do have it see what is on the machine?

quite often during itunes update antivirus starts interfering with itunes not being able to communicate with database library file. In the future my recommendation to disable antivirus during itunes update and until computer restart. (Norton, Kasperskiy, Mcafee and sofos are on the list of mine).

You can try to restart itunes according to that article below( pick choose library option) and find your old database file (xml). according to second article. If you are good and know your computer it will work. If it does not you ll have to go back to importing folder, just set your computer not to go to sleep in the middle.
