Q: Imac OSX 10.9 to Apple tv Airplay Audio Only

My airplay to Apple tv is connected but it won't mirror my desktop.  Playing movies from Itunes to Apple tv works fine but I only get Audio when I try to play other movies.

I tried updating my Apple Tv software but this did not fix the problem.

Any suggestions?
