I synced my iPad to my Macbook Pro. Everything appeared to sync correctly. My photos transferred immediately, but I can not find the notes from my iPad. What happened?

Notes don't sync via iTunes. You can only sync them through a mail server, such as iCloud.
I used iCloud too and I can not find them on my Mac
Only notes in the iCloud category will sync. On My iPad notes will not.
Log in to the iCloud website and see whether the notes are there.
I did. The notes are not there either.
And are they in the iCloud category on the iPad?
How do I check to make sure of this? I thought if the iCloud was turned on on the iPad, then the notes would be put in iCloud.

First, make sure iCloud is selected as the default account in the Notes settingson the iPad. If it is, sign out of iCloud and sign back in.
